Miriam Katenda

Miriam Katenda is the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Supporting Single Parents International (SSPI), and manages the day to day running of the organization. She is a Registered Nurse by professional & currently a graduate student of Business Administration with the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.  Miriam is a dedicated mother & has served her community for over 10 years in different organizations.


Sonji Neverson 

Sonji has over 25 years of administrative experience. She and her husband are recording artists who inspire people through gospel music, community outreaches and multicultural events. Sonji is very passionate about community service, which she has been involved in since 1991 till date.



Esther Jack-Vickers BA, PGDE, MA, (PhD in view) 

Esther teaches Introduction to Comparative Political Systems at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Esther Jack-Vickers is a seasoned educator, administrator and a researcher. Esther taught English Language and Literature in English. In addition to teaching, Esther held numerous positions including Head of Arts Department, Manager, International Office and Public Relations, Editor in chief/production Manager, The SICA Pilot magazine. Esther was also an Examiner with years of experience for: West African Examination Council (WAEC), National Examination Council (NECO), and Association of Christian schools in Nigeria (ACSN). Esther has a proven record for preparing students for SAT, TOEFL and IELTS. In an effort to encourage skills acquisition and leadership among students, Esther was involved in facilitating and mobilizing students to attend leadership programs,  workshops, camps, and conferences.  Some of the programs she has been involved with include Nigeria International Secondary Schools Model United Nations INISSMUN) conferences, Digital Peers International (DGI) ICT camp, Citizenship and Leadership Training programs, Junior and Achievers program. 

Esther attended University of Jos, Nigeria, where she graduated with  a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Linguistics.  She obtained her Masters Degree in Global studies from Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts.  She is currently a PhD student at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.  



Susan Muriru, RN 

Susan is a CEO of Radiance Home Care with offices in Springfield and Lynnfield. She is a nurse by profession with over 20 years of community service.
